You Are Protected! Did you know that you are divinely protected from all harm if you ask for it and believe it. In my life, whenever I have asked for divine protection, I have always received it. It is only when I forgot to ask and was feeling out of balance, that things have gone awry. Bullet Proof George Have you ever heard the story: "Bullet Proof George." This story was in our American History school textbooks until the powers to be decided it was too spiritual to believe. In his early days, George Washington was a British officer in a deadly French and Indian War Battle. Beforehand he prayed deeply for spiritual protection. The Indians were hiding behind follage firing muskets at the exposed lines of British soldiers on horses. It turned out to be a near massacre; as all were killed or wounded except for George. Two horses were shot out from under him, and he managed to ride away on a third horse. Afterwards, he discoverred bullet holes in his coat yet his body was untouched. Years later, the indian chief in that battle became friends with George. He exclaimed how he and his men, after having shot down everyone else, fired at George round after round. They finely gave up, with the respect that George must have some kind of special medicine. You can get the details of this amazing story here. George Washington demonstrated the power we all have to be protected.Notice how I did not say "protect himself." In the knowing of our connection with the whole of life, we are protected. It is not a tightening up to protect ourselves as an act of self defense, but a surrender to the fact that we deserve to receive a divine protection that is greater than ourselves alone. George Washington had a greater mission, but he is not special here. We all do. I have witnessed people of all ages choose to be protected while walking on fire; red hot flaiming 1200 degree F coals. I watched senior citizens do it as well as a 10 year old girl without getting burned the least as we chose to be spiritually protected and have faith. I have walked the fire on 7 occasions, and on only one of them did I not even get the slightest hotspot. It was the only firewalk that I let go into my joy the most. I drummed and sang with complete abandon, and low and behold, I was seemingly invinceable. Your Authentic Joy Protects You. When you are compromising your joy, you are less immune to whatever is going around. I am not talking about chasing some pleasure. Deep joy occurs from connecting with and expressing your integrity of loving. Nothing can take away your real essence, your joyfull oneness with the universe.
